Job Responsibilities

Pennoni is currently looking for a Graduate Geologist/Engineer/Environmental Scientist with experience consistent, but not limited to:

  • Assisting project engineer in all aspects of environmental due diligence, site investigation, and site remediation; able to organize and plan multiple tasks and prosperities
  • Carrying out site assessments, conducting technical audits and evaluating the environmental impact of industrial and commercial operations
  • Field work tasks including field contamination assessment activities (soil and groundwater sampling), soil source removal, and remediation system installation/operation
  • Performing quality control checks and correct malfunctioning field equipment
  • Keeping files and notes organized to efficiently stop and start tasks at different times
  • Time management; understanding priorities and schedules and their impact on the project team
  • Interpreting drawings
  • Ability to discuss project expectations with project engineer or lead technician; proactive communication with project engineer


Job Requirements

Required Attributes

  • Required education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
  • Minimum years of related experience: 0-3 years

Preferred Attributes

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within a design group settings
